In depth
Verdict
Louisiade had to work hard to win in a claimer over course and distance last week but, on that evidence, the John Harris-trained gelding looks the one to beat again and he gets the vote ahead of Just Mossie and Ginger Pop. The last mentioned disappointed at Kempton over six furlongs last time but has solid claims on earlier form over today's trip and he has to be respected. Plateau ran better dropped into this grade at Lingfield last time and has to be considered, as does Aggbag now that he returns to a more suitable distance having not stayed further at Wolverhampton on his most recent start. Just Mossie has to be respected in receipt of weight all round but Louisiade looks the most likely winner on recent form and is preferred.
