In depth
Verdict
Saville's Delight is the most consistent performer in this tricky finale and so he gets the nod ahead of Egyptian Lord and Thoughtsofstardom. Tom Dascombe's course and distance winner has been running well of late and only went down by half a length to the progressive Crimson Fern last time out at Lingfield. A proven ability to handle this surface is certainly a plus and he can get his head back in front today. Union Jack Jackson needs a check in the betting coming back from a break, whilst Thoughtsofstardom is slowly edging down the handicap. Gone'n'Dunnett is not the most consistent but is on a very favourable mark now, whilst the same applies to Egyptian Lord but the stable are yet to fire this winter. Kennington is another very fairly treated on old form, so the market may provide some further clues here, however preference is for Saville's Delight.
