Verdict
Bid For Glory was a game winner first time up and can follow up this afternoon, at the expense of Orpen Prince and Charlie Tipple. The selection was slowly away in that Newmarket contest and had to be switched to make his run at the furlong mark. He should improve leaps and bounds on that effort and may have got in here lightly. Charlie Tipple took on some decent opponents at Newmarket last time and didn't do too badly. If he handles this all-weather surface he should go close in this lesser company. Orpen Prince gained a deserved success at Chester last time and is another making his all-weather debut. He is on the upgrade and should take a hand in the finish. Bed Fellow and Tom Tower are two others worthy of respect, but our idea of the winner is Bid For Glory.
