In depth
Verdict
Another tight contest but the TEAMtalk selection is Well Then Now Then. The gelding from the Henry Daly yard won in good style last time out when defeating Bin It despite looking in need of the run. The filly by Supreme Leader will strip fitter now and she will be hard to beat. Orangerie rates the main danger. He won well at Cheltenham and then ran a game race in defeat at Wincanton when second to Lords Best, shaping as if this trip will suit. Strong Flow is a well bred Over The River gelding from a top yard and the market may prove the best guide as to what is expected. Gigs Gambit is from a yard beginning to hit top form and he was a fair fifth at Haydock last time out, but his best form has been on good to firm ground. Running Machine is a former point-to-point winner who has shown a modicum of ability but he may be best watched here after a heavy fall at Sedgefield last time. Of the others El Hombre Del Rio could run well at a fair price having shown improved form to be second to the highly regarded The Biker at Newton Abbot last time out.
