Verdict
A ten runner field go to post for this mares only contest and the TEAMtalk selection is Kali Des Obeaux. The mare from the Alan King yard was a good second behind Translucid at Warwick last time and a reproduction of that form would see her go close. Tealby is a bumper winner who showed a modicum of ability on her hurdling debut behind Caldat Seventeen but she gave the impression she would do better over a longer trip. Sel also has place claims on her best form but that has come on fast ground and she may find the ground on the soft side for her. Promising was beaten in a seller by Maousse Honor a couple of runs ago and was well held in better company next time. She needs to improve but has definite place claims in this desperate affair. Of the others, Ann-Lise was placed at up to a mile on the Flat and if her stamina lasts out she to would have place claims. The remainder look decidedly moderate.
