      In depth

      Verdict

Chatshow has been running well lately and is taken to score again, but Savile's Delight, Stargem and Sir Ernest all have reasonable claims. Savile's Delight carries a six pound penalty for beating Imco Sasihill last week, and a good showing from that in the opening division would obviously enhance his claims here. Sir Ernest was disappointing in seventh in the same race, but had a slow start that day and is probably best judged by his earlier win at Wolverhampton, which would put him in with a chance here. But the one we take to come out best is Chatshow, who was fifth in the same race. He lost his place on the home turn, but scored over this course and distance in December and with a six pound pull, Chatshow is fancied to come out best today. Stargem won her maiden at Wolverhampton and was not disgraced when second at Lingfield on her handicap debut, but this drop back to the minimum trip is not sure to suit, so we'll stick with Chatshow.
