In depth
Verdict
A wide open affair gets proceedings under way and the TEAMtalk selection is Bonito. The gelding ran a fair race last time out when fifth behind Scramble he will come on for the run and he could be hard to beat with the stable having a very good record here. Only One Legend rates the main danger this is his best trip and he is well in on his best form. High Esteem is also worthy of consideration he is from a yard in top form, and is a course and distance winner and if he can reproduce his third behind Quito he will not be far away although he was very disappointing last time out. Tancred Miss is well in on her turf form but she has never shown her best on this surface. Pearly Brooks is another who would go close on turf form but has disappointed on this surface. Of the others Lucefer is worth a look in the market he won well at Yarmouth when defeating Mr Bountiful and if he reproduces that effort he should not be far away.
