In depth
Verdict
Plenty in with chances here in yet another low grade, tricky affair, and we take Indian Music to turn the tables on Mallia, with Kanz Wood, Headland and Jonny Ebeneezer all likely to figure. Mallia beat Indian Music by a head in a poor event at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago, but the latter is now a stone better off at the weights, and with Alan Berry's yard in flying form over the past few days, he is selected to come out on top this time. Prior to that narrow defeat, Indian Music had been running fairly well in this type of company anyway and would not be a surprise winner. Kanz Wood, three times a winner here, has not been seen at the track since last November, since when he has dropped in the weights to a very reasonable mark indeed. He could be ready to bounce back at any time now, along with Headland who falls into the same category. Jonny Ebeneezer got rid of his pilot before winning at Brighton in May but flopped on a return there two weeks later. He has run well here in the past though and is another not to discount, especially if they come down the stands side. At the weights, Indian Music should make a bold bid and is the pick.
