Star Welcome gets the confident vote here with Zoripp and Royal Axminster rating the main dangers. The selection finished in mid-division despite being unlucky in running in a much better race last time out behind Captain Margaret. This looks much easier and if he gets the breaks here he need only run up to that mark to score. Zoripp rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Finnegans Rainbow. However he has a penalty for that win and this looks much more competitive so he looks vulnerable off this mark. Royal Axminster is another that could go well but he has ran as if the handicapper had caught up with him of late and for that reason he is over looked.Zandeed has shown glimmers of ability and could go well at a price if first time cheek pieces have the desired effect but in a race where few can be fancied for the winner we return to Star Welcome.
