Verdict
Makena comes here looking for a hat-trick after two nice wins over the hurdles whilst Sir Bumble has put in some consistent runs of late including a win at Newton Abbot earlier this month, however we side with the progressive CINAMAN. The selection was just a head behind Bynack Mhor at Uttoxeter on a day when there was a little bit of drizzle on the turf. With likely inclement weather conditions for this contest he may be able to benefit to see off the likes of Sir Bumble whose best performances have come on faster ground. Makena is a big danger looking for three wins in a row after two hurdle successes including one at this course. However, Cinaman runs for Tim Vaughan and was unlucky not to win last time. The trainer has a 27% strike rate here and we side with his option in the opener.
