In depth
Verdict
Mount Hillaby just scraped home at Wolverhampton and may find this a bit tougher, so we will give the vote to Nearly A Fool, with Taranaki also expected to run well. Nearly A Fool is relatively lightly raced and put in two terrific performances at Lingfield recently, beating Roman Quintet on the first occasion before chasing homer Macs Talisman. He has winning form here earlier in the season as well so looks to have en excellent chance off today's mark. Taranaki wasn't beaten far in a blanket finish at Wolverhampton last time and still lloks fairly well treated, especially with the five pound claim of Nelson de Souza. Mount Hillaby beat some decent types in his last race and although he has risen in the weights he should still be capable of fighting for a place. The David Barron pair Penwell Hill and Familiar Affair are also talented enough to warrant a mention, but pick of the weights today appears to be Nearly A Fool and this one gets our vote.
