Verdict
Course experience is a big plus here for two-year-olds and that may just swing it for the first-time-blinkered Fission, who proved a costly failure here earlier in the month. Sir Mark Prescott's Efisio filly is a half-sister to the stables useful Flying Officer, a winner over six and seven furlongs. This step up in trip is sure to be in her favour and she is taken to get off the mark at the expense of Riley Boys, who showed plenty of promise at Doncaster behind Danesmead. James Given's colt was quite a late foal and is open to any amount of improvement. Of the newcomers Place Cowboy, who is a half-brother to All-Weather winner Hoh's Back is of interest. Jamie Osborne has his two-year-olds in good form at present, having saddled four winners in the past week, so any market move for him would be of interest. Lady Peaches is a half-sister to a juvenile winner in Greece as well as being from the same family as the useful Cumbrian Challenge, but is probably best watched on this racecourse debut.
