Verdict
Having shown ability on Turf, Forfeiter showed a clear liking for this surface when bolting up in a seven-furlong maiden last time. He did not beat much there but he did it well and comes into the reckoning again today. Union Jack Jackson is proven on this surface and is improving, although he seems fairly weighted on what he has so far achieved. However, he should be in the shake-up, as might Grezie, who won on this surface last time, although that victory came in a seller. That said, a mark of 59 is not unreasonable and he too could well bag some money. Turning to the others an All A Dream has yet to inspire on this surface in two tries, while High Dyke does seem to be improving now and could have better to come, and Bogaz's best efforts have come at the lowest grade. Finally, Belton won a seller on Turf last time but has a bit to prove on his first try on this surface. That spins us back to the selection, which is Forfeiter.
