Verdict

Burristo and Rwanda Mist came home second and third at Newton Abbot when the latter was sent off a well-backed favourite. Cheekpieces are now applied to the former and much will depend on how much they benefit from that initial hurdling experience. Boundsy Boy was runner-up on debut over timber and should improve too, although the winner that day has since been well beaten, admittedly under a double penalty. David Pipe usually unearths a few juvenile hurdlers to go to war with and ONEONECHOP is taken to make a winning debut for the yard, having scored six times in a very busy 12 months for previous French connections.
