In depth

Verdict

KAPSIZE appeals as being feasibly treated despite a slightly low-key effort last time when still far from disgraced. A comfortable winner at Hexham previously, the Bowen inmate is at home over two to three miles so this intermediate trip should suit. Badness Backfires concedes the selection 22lb but still looks the main danger after three more than respectable runs this term in similar contests. His recent third here was his best of the season and he took well to the track that day. Air Hair Lair completes the shortlist after two strong runner-up efforts over fences, since when he's also taken the silver medal over 1m4f on the Flat. Getawaytonewbay has place claims.
