Verdict
An interesting contest for this time of year with the bold front-running Prince Dimitri attempting to gain compensation for a narrow defeat at Uttoxeter. This sharp track will suit his style of racing and if the run-in is as short as it was at the last meeting, he will take plenty of pegging back. Unleash has done nothing wrong since switching to hurdling, but this winner at up to a mile and threequarters on the flat, may find this trip around here an insufficient test, while Bushido may also prefer a stiffer track, having won at the likes of Hexham and Carlisle. Others to consider include Northern raider Turn Of Phrase and Ela Re, who appeared to find some improvement last time behind Our Armageddon, with dual-winner Rainbow River well beaten, some 14-lengths away.
