In depth
Verdict
This looks a two horse race between the top two on the card. Recent winner Montessori Mio lowered the colours of an odds-on shot last time out and has the ability to follow up here with the opposition looking so weak. He has translated some useful Flat form to hurdles and now the penny has finally started to drop he should go very close here. The danger is previous winner Bude who will appreciate the step up in trip and ran reasonably well last time out. An outsider to consider is Ragu who takes an appreciable step down in class here and had previously shown glimmers of form. The trip and ground seem likely to suit Ferdy Murphy's five-year-old.
