In depth
Verdict
A pretty desperate race to close proceedings at the northern track with only a couple of these showing winning form in the past. Natural is one of them and he is the tentative selection. He has good course form and has shown he acts on a fast surface while the distance should be no problem. His lack of consistency negates him being a confident selection but he is basically the best of a bad bunch. San Dimas can be given as an alternative as he has also shown winning form and looks on a reasonable mark. His sole victory came under similar conditions to this and if he has a 'going' day then he could go close. The rest are pretty average or badly weighted. The Byedein showed a bit of conviction last time out and he could run into a place.
