Verdict
This looks best left to Tamango who only has Burundi to worry about in a weak contest. With Bus, Jalons Star and Red Blooded having shown nothing between them it is a match involving the first two mentioned, and Tamango should be capable of giving weight all round judged on his recent form. Given a confidence-booster over timber at Exeter after a heavy fall, the six-year-old has been in top form since, with impressive victories at Fontwell and Hereford, and although having to concede nearly a stone to Burundi, should be up to the task. Burundi's last win came over hurdles at Wetherby in February, and although placed on his last two outings over fences, remains hard to place. In other circumstances, he may well have been found a suitable opportunity here, but his connections must have been dismayed to see Tamango stand his ground, and Philip Hobbs' inmate gets a confident vote.
