      Verdict

      The four-year-old Mere Detail has already won a point-to-point so has ability. Deshan was having his first run in almost a year when third of five at Southwell and should strip fitter here while Frobisher Bay is capable of better but SAM NOIR appears to have been found a good opportunity to make a winning debut. He's the first foal to race of a mare that won Grade 1 and Grade 2 races over hurdles and Peter Bowen will have him ready.
