In depth
Verdict
Willie John Daly is progressing nicely and is taken to resume winning ways with Blue Business and Unlocked looking the biggest dangers. Although the Philip Hobbs-trained gelding has only a Fontwell novices' hurdle success to his name over timber, the son of Mister Lord has lost no caste in defeat behind useful types Hirvine and Joly Bey on his last two starts and looks to have been found a decent opportunity by his handler. Blue Business showed promise in a bumper and ran his best race over hurdles when third behind Special Rate at Wincanton last time. He makes more appeal than Unlocked who is a stablemate of the selection but who has failed to progress in four starts over hurdles. Dragon's Dream, a stable mate of Blue Business looks the Nicholls second string on jockey bookings. Martin Pipe's Tanterari, a bumper winner in Ireland, has failed to complete in two starts over fences this term and could be interesting on his hurdling debut but Willie John Daly has done little wrong and gets the vote.
