Time For Action can prove the best of a moderate bunch, with Sir Walter and Felix best of the rest. This really is a poor selling contest but something has to win it and Time For Action is as good a choice as any. The 12-year-old has obviously seen better days, but the one glimmer of hope is the gelding's unlucky second at Leicester in December. Ridden to lead three out, he had the race in the bag when a mistake at the last knocked the stuffing out of him and he could only finish second to Fairtoto. Pulled up early at Folkestone next time, he is non too consistent these days, but is extremely well handicapped on form of old, and might be good for one more win at least. Sir Walter is another well in these days, but does not make as much appeal as Felix, who is just a bit younger. Aliabad apart, the rest have shown very little, and it is more in hope than optimism that Time For Action is chosen.
