Hygrove Percy won three times back in 2016 and was returning from a very long break when scooting home in a similar race to this at Fontwell, when Le Ligerian was beaten 17 lengths. An 11lb rise makes this more difficult though another big run is expected. Story Of Friends completed a double on good ground in the spring and ran very well over a trip too short at Kempton last month so has to be respected as does BIRDS OF PREY. The latter completed a track and trip double in the spring and will have needed his comeback run in a Listed contest at Kempton. Vaziani dropped into Class 4 company when running well at Plumpton and he's up 4lb.
