Verdict

The Tizzard string is back in fine flow and MOUNT RUSHMOORE (NAP) is a likely addition to the tally of recent winners. A point-to-point winner, he's only succumbed narrowly the last twice in useful hurdles won by stable companion Golden Sunrise and Champagne Champ. Trip and ground are fine for the Shantou gelding and he's preferred to Le Musee. The latter, who had one run for Andre Fabre in France, has taken well to his new discipline and looks a live danger. Hitherto he has yet to perform on anything other than heavy ground though. Cereal Killer has yet to replicate his winning point-to-point form over hurdles and looks best watched for now and Amzac Magic has a lengthy absence to overcome. Golden Whisky is a possible improver.
