In depth
Verdict
Kingston Town will be a warm order here following his easy Chepstow win, which came after a very good second to the decent Flame Phoenix the time before. That horse will by now have run at Cheltenham yesterday. Craobh Rua has form enough to run into a place in this run-of-the-mill event, while Jesper is also interesting based on his French form, and the Paul Nicholls-trained Karoo ran reasonably well at Newton Abbot and can fare better again if he settles better this time. Of the others, Lord Henry showed promise on his bumper debut and should improve in time, while On A Deal looks capable of wining a race based on his Wincanton second in May over a longer trip. However, for the winner, we return to Kingston Town.
