In depth
Verdict
This is quite a competitive event and the vote goes to Bak To Bill, with Even More, Sacrifice and Tudor King rated as his biggest dangers. The selection ran really well last time and, given that he is set to rise by four pounds after today, can make the most of that fact, even though he is 10 pounds above a mark from which he has won. Even More has won before from his current mark and comes here fit so warrants consideration, while Team Captain has a chance on the best of his form but his jumping sometimes lets him down. Sacrifice ran well from today's mark at Wincanton two runs ago behind the progressive Palouse, and a repeat of that type of effort gives him claims, and Tudor King comes here seeking a three-timer and, given that he is only four pounds higher in the ratings than for the first of his wins, comes firmly in to the reckoning. Two Tears is a course and distance winner, but that was two years ago and he has a long absence to defy, while Totheroadyouvgone ran well last time but, having been raised four pounds for that effort - when beaten - we prefer the chances of others, most notably, Bak To Bill.
