        Verdict

        Mystic Meg was no match for the smart Magic Lily when runner-up at Newmarket on last year’s debut. But she should go well given the others with experience of the racecourse have shown little so far. Of the newcomers, Bea Ryan is preferred to Makawee but John Gosden sends a rare runner to the course in the shape of MARGIE’S CHOICE and the half-sister to a couple of winners in Germany may prove good enough at the first time of asking.
