Verdict

SOCIETY MUSIC went close last time and he can make amends here; the list of dangers is headed by Dancing Maite and Spin Again. Michael Dods is beginning to hit form with his runners and this mare is back on a very fair mark. She was returning from a long break when finishing second Jebel Tara over this course and distance last time and she has an obvious chance of going one better. Dancing Maite could be a danger, but most of his best form has been over shorter than this. However, he has run well over this trip in the past and this flat track should enable him to get home. Spin Again was a little disappointing at Redcar last time when he didn't help his chance with an awkward exit from the stalls. Again, his best form has been over 7f and he may be best watched tonight. Violent Velocity enjoyed some success last summer but he still appears to be paying the penalty for that and he may need some help from the handicapper before he is able to resume winning ways. Champain Sands has got course and distance form so he could be a better each-way alternative. However, Society Music makes most appeal and he deserves to get his head in front.
