    Verdict

A tough race in which Lady Pekan is taken to beat Baron Rhodes, Frascati and Musical Fair. Lady Pekan is plenty exposed as a sprinting type but she does at least hold her form well and the recently returned Fran Ferris will be keen to announce his arrival back into the world of racing. Baron Rhodes is frustrating to follow and has hit the bar too many times for her long suffering supporters. She is unproven on a genuinely firm surface although she has handled good to firm in the past. Frascati is held on a strict line of Musselburgh form with our selection. Musical Fair is used to humping big weights and almost took ten stones to victory at Newcastle. The Glover team are in much better form and she is very well drawn tonight in nine. Rewayaat is classy but will probably need this first run. Many chances held and we will take Lady Pekan's match fitness against the rest.
