Verdict

Another small field goes to post for this conditions stakes and on closer inspection again it looks a match between Pivotal Guest and Kinnaird and we will take a chance on Pivotal Guest. The colt from the Mick Channon yard has been in fair form of late and a reproduction of his latest third behind Chinsola would make him hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Kinnaird looks the only conceivable danger but he was disappointing behind Fragrant Star last time . However the step up to seven furlongs is sure to suit. Of the remainder Benbaun is from a yard that is doing well with its two year olds but he needs to step up significantly on his debut effort to trouble the principals and we are happy to side with Pivotal Guest.
