        Verdict

        Imperial Lucky, Glendening and Crush On You are the three for the shortlist here and preference is for Glendening. Glendening has been running consistently all season and was beaten into third by Imperial Lucky last time at Catterick but on six pounds better terms can reverse that form. Another key factor is the draw-Glendening is drawn in stall two and Imperial Lucky is out in stall eleven. Imperial Lucky has since run well in a better race at Wolverhampton, finishing second. Crush on You is an interesting runner. Drawn in stall eight, Crush on You ran well in a claimer here last time and finished a one length third. She was subsequently claimed out of Andrew balding¿s yard and is now with Reg Hollinshead. She can go well. Preference though is for the well drawn Glendening to lose his maiden tag.
