Verdict
Sahara Silk, Wise Wager and Elvina are the three to think about here and after due consideration, we feel that Sahara Silk¿s form stands up to scrutiny the best. Elvina ran her best race for some time when finishing a good second on the Polytrack at Lingfield recently and if reproducing that run will go close but this is a totally different surface and she is passed over for that reason. Wise Wager could prove to be just that. He shoulders top weight here but is well drawn and in good heart judged by a close third to Absent Friends in a claimer at Catterick. Absent Friends though was well beaten last time and the form looks questionable. Sahara Silk though is the one to be on. Winner at Hamilton three outings ago, he has run respectably at Sandown and Beverley since and this looks less competitive. Well drawn in stall ten Sahara Silk can come out on top.
