Verdict
SIMPLY SHINING looked in need of the experience in what looked a decent maiden on soft ground at Ayr but was staying on really nicely at the finish and with that under her belt will take some beating here. Blue Clumber's 100/1 second to Jadanna in the Hilary Needler on fast ground at Beverley is the best form on view but she ran very moderately back there on soft going subsequently. New Falcon started favourite on her debut at Newmarket and wasn't beaten far before showing good pace behind the useful Sharaarah at Kempton. Sir Henry Cecil's newcomer Iberis is by Nayef and sure to be suited by this trip for her debut.
