Verdict
SEQUENCE, a half-sister to the brilliant Sinndar, is bred for stamina and has been making steady progress. This should be her trip and there was plenty to like about the way she was staying on over 1m2f at Newcastle. She's handed the vote though Cactus Valley has a very similar profile and was noted staying on steadily behind Nabucco over 1m2f at Windsor. Almaas is another tackling this trip for the first time but he's been a bit disappointing so far this season and looks high enough in the weights on what he's achieved. Gabrial's Star scored over a mile as a juvenile but has shown nothing in handicaps this term but Saffa Hill isn't out of this as there's no doubt about him staying as he was running on over the trip at Pontefract last time. Northern Jewel hasn't shown much and is out of the handicap.
