In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters and the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Carwell, Golden Topaz and Avina Laugh and the vote is given to Carwell. The selection hails from a yard whose two-year-olds can to no wrong at present and this well bred King's Best filly out of an unraced mare is taken to make a winning debut. Golden Topaz rates the main danger as she was a fair sixth on his debut behind Valley Of The Moon and looks sure to improve. Avina Laugh is another that could go well as she hails from a yard in form and is another that has the benefit of experience on her side so should be noted in the market. Oaf the remainder Decent Proposal, is another that catches the eye on breeding and should be noted in the market but her stable are not renowned for first time out winners and with this in mind for the winner we return to Carwell.
