A competitive handicap in which Little Jimbob, Hartshead, Snap and Sawwaah look to be the leading lights with the vote given to Little Jimbob. The selection was a good winner when beating Sawwaah at Musselburgh last time and he is weighted to confirm those placings with that rival here today. He has a fair draw and looks the one to beat. Hartshead may need the run on his seasonal reappearance and he looks to have plenty on from his high draw. However, he has to be considered on the pick of his form from last season, even if others are preferred on this occasion. Snap ran well on his seasonal reappearance at Southwell behind Polar Magic and he is well-drawn so could have solid place prospects. However, Little Jimbob won well last time and will not be inconvenienced by this drop in trip and he is given the vote.
