In depth

Verdict

EAGLE'S PASS is well in on official ratings here though prospective punters will need to forgive a moderate effort in a Grade B handicap at Killarney last month. However, a close third behind Jigalo at Punchestown earlier would suffice here though it's over a year since he last won. Decoy Daddy was in superb form at this time a year ago and the fact that he hasn't raced since August may not be too much of a problem as he bounces off fast ground. Swiftmarc was conceding 5lbs to Just Moscow when beating him over five lengths at Punchestown so there's no apparent reason the runner-up should turn the tables on the same terms. The God Of Love and Oodachee are better known as chasers but both have useful form over timber though the former is held by Sciatin on their run at Limerick last month and Eoin Doyle's charge hasn't been overtaxed this year.
