Verdict

STRONGPOINT ended last year with a victory over Auberge at Musselburgh in November and didn't return to action until making his chasing debut at Kilbeggan last month. Charlie Swan's charge started favourite that day and was well in command when coming to grief at the last. He can recoup losses though Prince Roco can go well if managing to stay on his feet as he has already produced useful form over fences and was quietly fancied for this race a year ago when an early faller. Sharadi has won half-a-dozen times in his career and made a promising start over fences behind Kotkidy at Killarney but a bigger danger may emerge in the shape of Forjoetheplumber despite a long lay-off as this lightly-raced six-year-old ran a couple of promising races over fences last October after an earlier victory over timber at Roscommon.
