In depth

Verdict

Mi Esperanza is 6lb out of the handicap and, though her rider's claim helps and she's won here in the past, this is a competitive affair. JUNGLE JANE made a successful two-year-old debut and scored over the course and distance on her reappearance last June where she beat Primo Uomo over three lengths. She was then beaten a short-head in a Curragh premier handicap and gets the nod over Indigo Balance, a Listed winner for Jessica Harrington as a juvenile before heading for Australia but now back with the Kildare handler and a very good second at the Curragh last month with That's Mad just behind in fourth. Grammata looks best of Denis Hogan's duo though nothing can be ruled out in a tricky handicap.
