Verdict
Tipp Top Lord can make the most of his stamina here to master Its Gotta Be Alfie and Over Zealous. The Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained seven-year-old is a progressive sort who revealed his stamina when ploughing through the mud at Chepstow last month. That was only his fifth ever race and he is open to plenty of improvement, so should be capable of taking an eight-pound rise in the weights in his stride. Ground conditions will also be in his favour and he should make a bold bid to keep up the stable's fine season. The selection does not have a great deal to beat in reality, with Its Gotta Be Alfie perhaps the one to chase him home. He is just an out-and-out stayer though and is still a maiden, unlike Over Zealous who has been a grand servant to John Upson over the years, but who finds himself anchored with topweight. The rest are hard to fancy and Tipp Top Lord can gallop his rivals into the ground.
