WAR GOD had been beaten at massive odds in maidens before landing one at Limerick when well supported. He makes his handicap debut and, with his rider's claim a plus, can complete a double. Bonarc showed potential in maidens last summer without winning but made no mistake when making all at Clonmel and is another who could be well treated. It's a long time since the veteran Goulane Chosen ran over hurdles but he comes here on a 25lb lower mark than over fences. Rocky Court has a long absence to overcome but the four-year-old Battle Of Benburb was in the lead at this trip when tackling 2m3f at Cork and there are plenty of others with chances in a wide-open handicap.
