Verdict

MASTER OF VERSE, who cost £150,000 after his victory in a point-to-point, has been extremely disappointing in bumpers having been a beaten favourite in all three starts. He's likely to make a chaser in time but this shouldn't take much winning and he can make a successful start. Thumb Stone Blues has a penalty for his bumper victory but he's been going well over timber on similar ground to today's and is an obvious threat if the selection doesn't come up to scratch again. Conn Job did better when sent over 2m4f at Wexford when last seen in October while Sizing Matterhorn is another who may improve when sent over further.
