Verdict

Mystic Lass has been absent since runner-up here in December 2014 which won't aid her cause on this sort of ground. Black Ice, runner-up to Stolberg at Limerick last month, appeared to find an extra two furlongs and quicker ground against him at Downpatrick a week later. LONG JOURNEY HOME (NAP) was claimed after scoring at Dundalk in February and made a very bright start for new connections when runner-up to Mississippi River on heavy going at Cork with Dr Waluigi back in fourth. He's up 3lb but this looks no tougher and he can go one better. Miss Faithful gained the only victory of her career on this track in December 2014 but looked to be on her way back to her best when runner-up over a slightly longer trip at Wexford though that was last June on good ground and she hasn't run subsequently.
