Verdict

Immelmann is an intriguing contender as he has only had six starts and was backed into favouritism for a big-field handicap at the Galway festival, though finished last of 19. His debut run for the yard at the Curragh was more promising and he shouldn't be discarded just yet but ROYAL EAGLE landed this prize last year and has since run well over hurdles. He was an easy winner over timber here just a couple of days ago and is taken to follow up. The hat-trick seeking Vischio is respected but has been raised 12lb for his last two wins and that will make life harder. Immutable and Expound look best of the rest.
