Verdict

Willie Mullins runs three but STOKE THE FIRE makes most appeal. He'd been absent since October 2021 before returning to the track this summer. Beaten under a length on two occasions, he can go one better despite a 7lb rise for his Galway run. Stable companion Zenon has been absent since August 2020 but Rachael Blackmore is booked. A third Mullins runner, Foveros, last hit the target in May 2021. Sheishybrid has been shaping well in competitive Curragh handicaps, however, and Mr Rango is respected on the best of his form with his up-and-coming rider claiming a valuable 7lb.
