Verdict

The four-year-old COLENSO looked an improved performer when scoring at Wexford and proved it with a comprehensive victory over this course and distance. He's up 8lb but looks likely to go much higher. Le Vagabond is the other track and trip winner but though he's won six times in his career the latest was in 2016. Skeaping gained his first success over timber at Clonmel and though 7lb higher wouldn't need much more to get competitive while Littlestickarubarb has been in superb form over fences and can revert to hurdling on a 9lb lower mark. Monbeg Chit Chat completed a double over fences last summer and is on a 10lb lower mark here so has to be respected despite a break since December.
