Verdict

BIG SOUND won this last year off a 2lb higher mark and he's been knocking on the door again lately. Receiving weight from all but one of his rivals, Mark Walford's charge may be the one to beat again. The in-form Ever So Much rates a danger, however, and Brownville won well over course and distance in April, though is 8lb higher now. Butlergrove King has only found one too good in his last couple of starts and has done all of his winning on going of this type. It's only a matter of time before Dancing Shadow gets his head in front and the mare Double Silver is also respected but Creepy, Forever My Friend and Highpower are returning from an absence. Master Rajeem is better over extreme distances but still preferred to veteran Arctic Ben and the disappointing Wicked Spice.
