Spartacus Bay is given the chance to get his career back on track, Quil Est Beau needs to be monitored whilst Hills Of Home and Winter Star boast solid credentials. The selection showed a smart level of form in bumpers in 2005/6 but has failed to build on that over hurdles and his form, arguably, has got progressively worse. He's in the right hands though if he's ever going to bounce back and may be worth one final chance on his return from a break. Support for David Pipe's French import, a twelve furlong winner, would be well worth noting but in the absence of that then Hills Of Home and Winter Star are two of the more obvious contenders to focus on. The former didn't do a lot wrong last time and just had the misfortune to bump into one too good on the day whilst the latter has been holding his form well in handicaps and should find a race. Gurteenoona is another to keep an eye on in the betting now that he's stepped up in trip but we'll take a chance on the talented Spartacus Bay.
