Bumper winner THE SWAGMAN looks to have a good opportunity in this company. He found one too good on his hurdling debut but the winner has gone in again since and today’s testing going is a bigger worry than the opposition. Of those, Bon Calvados should improve for last month’s hurdling bow at Ludlow but Crack Du Ninian and Alnadam were well beaten on their respective hurdling debuts having both won point-to-points earlier. Glockenspiel was placed on the Flat in France for Andre Fabre last year and debuts for Tom George’s yard having been gelded since.
