In depth
Verdict
Undeniable, Deep Water and Shareef are three against the field in this competitive handicap chase and the narrow vote is given to Undeniable. The selection has dropped to a handy mark and ran as if about to return to his best when second behind Polar Scout last time out. That form has since been franked and, off the same mark here, he will be hard to beat. Deep Water rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Enzo De Baune, but he just gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip and, at likely odds, he looks opposable. Shareef is another worthy of respect on his best form but he was pulled up for no apparent reason last time, so he cannot be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder: Gatorade is from a yard in form but he is prone to bursting blood vessels. He was also disappointing last time. Edmo Heights looks weighted up to his best and could struggle. So for the winner we return to Undeniable.
